The Chemical Design Roofing System offers the following features and benefits:

ELIMINATE LEAKS - First and foremost, your roof leaks will be eliminated by completely sealing and encapsulating your roof. SPF roofing can be shaped to enable positive drainage and eliminate ponding.

SEAMLESS - A seamless, monolithic application of Spray Polyurethane Foam with a weather resistant coating is superior to traditional roof types that use sheets or rolls of materials. Put simply, rolled materials create seams that must be fastened and adjoined throughout the roof creating weak joints which may allow water to enter.

VERSATILITY - Spray Polyurethane Foams and weather resistant coatings can be used on any substrate surface. SPF can conform to any shape and easily seal parapets, roof penetrations, HVAC curbs and other protrusions. SPF is self flashing and can be applied to adjoining vertical surfaces in a contiguous manner.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY - UV and weather resistant coatings will deflect extreme conditions from your roof. Foam adds an insulation barrier that will greatly increase the R-Value of your building thus reducing your energy use. SPF has an R-value of 7.14 per 1 inch thickness, enabling it to provide more thermal resistance with less material than any other type of roofing insulation.
The cost of the roof can be easily recovered in four to five years in energy savings.

DURABILITY - Foam roofs are extremely durable in all types of weather conditions and strong enough to handle foot and construction traffic.  If the coating for an SPF roof is properly maintained, then an SPF roof can outlast any roof type. Every ten or fifteen years, depending on the type and amount of coating installed, the roof will need to be cleaned, primed, and recoated.  Minor damage is easily patched or repaired and is easier to locate than damage to a traditional style roof.
